Brian Kraus brings over 12 years of specialized experience in title, acquisitions, and curative work throughout the Appalachian Basin to our leadership team. Since joining MAO in 2016, he has served as our Appalachia Manager, overseeing staffing and general operations for complex projects throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia with expertise.

His diverse background includes extensive experience as a Project Manager, overseeing drilling and exploration projects for various natural gas operators. He has run full patent title searches, negotiated leases and mineral purchases, and secured documents to fulfill curative requirements. Brian’s unique perspective also includes experience as an intern and paralegal for a law firm representing landowners in oil and gas negotiations. He holds Certified Professional Landman status with the American Association of Professional Landmen, serves as a board member of the Baton Rouge Association of Petroleum Landmen (BRAPL), and maintains membership in the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL (MLBC). Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and American Bar Association-Accredited Paralegal Certification from Gannon University in 2011.
